The rules that apply when a photographer offers photographs for sale and accepts payments through SafeFrame Pro.
Effective from 6 October 2026
These Seller Terms supplement the SafeFrame Pro Terms of Service and apply when you enable Commerce, offer photographs for sale, accept a customer order, or connect a Stripe account through SafeFrame Pro. The service provider is SAFE FRAME TECHNOLOGIES FZCO, registration number 65276, IFZA Business Park, Dubai Digital Park, PO Box 342001, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("SafeFrame Pro").
You, the photographer, are the seller and merchant of record for every Commerce order. The sales contract is between you and the customer. SafeFrame Pro provides technology for presenting the offer, recording the order, arranging payment infrastructure and delivering files; it does not become the seller of your photographs.
You must provide accurate legal, trading and support details and keep them current. The customer may see a snapshot of those details with the offer or order.
BASIC includes Commerce and online payments, subject to the applicable activation, seller-country, consent and Stripe requirements. BASIC uses standard SafeFrame Pro email content and sender details. PLUS, PRO and ULTIMATE additionally include customization of client email headings and introductions, reply email address, email address prefix and sender name. Email subjects remain system-managed.
When your plan changes to BASIC, client emails use the system templates, the primary email address on your SafeFrame Pro account for replies, team@safeframepro.com as the sender address, and SafeFrame Pro as the sender name. The dashboard displays these effective values. Previously saved customization is retained and becomes available again when you upgrade to an eligible plan. Your Mobile display name is not reset by this change.
A local SafeFrame Pro free trial without an eligible Stripe subscription provides read-only access to Commerce, including settings, orders and email previews. It does not permit manual changes, onboarding, seller-term acceptance, email test sends or manual order actions. A Stripe subscription with trialing status is treated as a subscription to its assigned plan. Existing published sales and saved automations remain subject to the current payment, consent and operational requirements.
The applicable SafeFrame Pro commission rate is fixed in the order record when the order is created. A later plan change does not recalculate that order or its payment attempts. Commission is collected only on a successfully paid online transaction.
Commerce is available only for business use by sellers who have legal capacity to sell, use an eligible SafeFrame Pro plan, operate from a supported country and satisfy the current platform rollout rules.
For online payments, you must complete Stripe onboarding, accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and any other agreements presented by Stripe, and maintain an approved connected account. You are responsible for keeping your identity, business, bank, tax and contact information accurate and for responding to Stripe requirements.
You authorize SafeFrame Pro to create payment and Checkout sessions for your orders, set and collect the applicable application fee, receive and process Stripe webhooks, check your connected-account and transaction status, and provide Stripe with the data reasonably required to operate Commerce and process payments.
You are responsible for your offer, including the photographs, package names, prices, currency, availability, terms of sale, licence for the photographs, return and refund policy, and any promises made to the customer. You must publish these customer terms in the required seller field and hold all rights and permissions needed to sell, license and deliver the photographs.
SafeFrame Pro copies and versions your Commerce settings for a gallery. A confirmed order keeps its recorded pricing, seller, fee, automation and terms snapshots; later changes to your defaults do not reprice that order. The server calculates the final amount from the customer's valid selections and the applicable versioned offer.
| Plan | Creating new transactions | SafeFrame Pro online commission |
|---|---|---|
| BASIC | Available | 1.5% |
| PLUS | Available | 1.5% |
| PRO | Available | 0% |
| ULTIMATE | Available | 0% |
BASIC and PLUS carry a 1.5% SafeFrame Pro commission on each successfully paid online transaction. PRO and ULTIMATE carry a 0% SafeFrame Pro commission. Online payments require completed Stripe onboarding, an approved connected account and the other eligibility requirements in these Seller Terms.
Stripe fees are separate and apply to online payments on every eligible plan, including PRO and ULTIMATE. They are charged according to Stripe's terms and the current pricing applicable to your connected account. Your Stripe balance receives the order amount minus the applicable SafeFrame Pro commission and Stripe fees. Stripe fees may vary by account country, payment method, card type, currency, currency conversion, payout and dispute. Always check Stripe's current pricing.
Example before Stripe fees: on a £100 successfully paid online transaction, SafeFrame Pro charges £1.50 on BASIC or PLUS, leaving £98.50 before Stripe fees. On PRO or ULTIMATE, SafeFrame Pro charges £0, leaving £100 before Stripe fees. Stripe fees are deducted separately in both cases.
Online payments are processed by Stripe as direct charges on your connected account. Any SafeFrame Pro commission is calculated on the full order amount before Stripe fees, includes all taxes imposed on that commission and is not increased by VAT or a similar tax. Fractional amounts are rounded down to the smallest unit of the payment currency. SafeFrame Pro charges no commission on offline payments.
Stripe controls settlement timing, payout schedules, reserves, currency conversion and any related deductions. You must maintain a sufficient Stripe balance to cover refunds, disputes, chargebacks and other amounts Stripe or SafeFrame Pro may recover under these Seller Terms.
If you choose settlement outside SafeFrame Pro, you alone arrange, collect, verify and document that payment. SafeFrame Pro does not hold or verify offline funds. Marking an order as settled is your representation that the payment has been received.
The order record stores the amount, currency, applicable commission rate and application-fee snapshot. SafeFrame Pro may pause new online payment sessions when a plan, country, connected account, legal version or operational requirement is not satisfied. This does not remove your obligations for existing orders.
You are responsible for completing the photographic service and delivering the photographs purchased by the customer in the agreed quality and time.
SafeFrame Pro performs automatic payment-link or download actions only when you enable the relevant automation and the platform receives the required status. Offline orders are not automatically delivered. You must monitor orders, correct customer contact details when necessary and intervene if an automated action fails.
Download links and delivery access may expire or be suspended. Keep your own source files and records; platform storage is not a substitute for your backup obligations.
You must publish and follow customer terms that include your terms of sale, licence for the photographs and return and refund policy and that comply with the law applicable to you and the customer. You are responsible for customer support, complaints, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks and payment disputes arising from your sale.
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, the SafeFrame Pro commission is not returned or credited when you make a full or partial refund or when a payment is charged back or a dispute is lost. You also bear the refunded amount, Stripe's refund, dispute and chargeback costs, and any other Stripe fee or recovery applicable to your connected account.
The current SafeFrame Pro Commerce workflow does not automatically reconcile refunds or disputes. Handle online payment issues through the available Stripe and support channels, and handle offline payments directly with the customer. SafeFrame Pro may suspend delivery or Commerce access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, a dispute or a legal obligation.
You determine, collect, report and pay all taxes, duties and similar charges connected with your sales and issue any invoice, receipt or fiscal document required by law. SafeFrame Pro does not provide tax or legal advice and does not become liable for your seller taxes by providing the platform.
You must comply with mandatory consumer and e-commerce rules, including required pre-contract information, pricing transparency, cancellation or withdrawal rights, digital-content rules, guarantees and remedies. These obligations apply even if a Commerce setting or automation does not enforce them for you.
You remain responsible for the legality of your photographs and customer data. Obtain all necessary copyrights, model or property releases, privacy notices and other permissions before processing, displaying or selling content.
For customer personal data connected with your photographic services, you act as controller and SafeFrame Pro acts as processor as described in the general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Protect your account and gallery access information and report suspected misuse promptly.
SafeFrame Pro may restrict onboarding, new orders, payment sessions, delivery or Commerce access when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, Stripe requirements, platform stability or a material breach of these Seller Terms. Where practical, we will provide information about the restriction and the steps available to resolve it.
SafeFrame Pro records your acceptance of the current document version and content hash together with the account, date and time and, where available, the IP address and browser or device information. A new or changed version may require fresh acceptance before onboarding or new Commerce orders can continue.
Any future change to the commission schedule above requires a new published version of these Seller Terms and your fresh acceptance. The applicable plan and commission rate are recorded when an order is created. A later plan change or new commission schedule does not recalculate the rate or application fee already recorded for an existing order.
The general SafeFrame Pro Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, limitation provisions and governing-law rules continue to apply. If these Seller Terms conflict with the general Terms of Service, these Seller Terms control only for the Commerce sale and payment subject matter. Existing order snapshots remain evidence of the terms recorded for that order.
Stripe reports and fee statements are records of transactions and Stripe's own fees; they are not an invoice from SafeFrame Pro for the applicable application fee. Stripe may issue tax invoices for its own fees. You remain responsible for obtaining and retaining any document required for the SafeFrame Pro commission under applicable law.
Translations are provided for convenience. If language versions differ, the English version prevails.
